THE USE OF NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDs) FOR POST-TRAUMATIC PAIN MANAGEMENT

THE USE OF NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDs) FOR POST-TRAUMATIC PAIN MANAGEMENT.

📍 Injury remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with approximately 5.8 million deaths annually due to injuries and related complications (World Health Organization, 2023). Effective pain management is a crucial element in trauma treatment, and NSAIDs have long been used to alleviate pain and inflammation.

📍 Recent epidemiological data emphasize the importance of optimizing NSAIDs usage. Studies have shown that appropriate use of NSAIDs can significantly reduce the need for opioid painkillers and related side effects (Smith et al., 2023).

👉 Recognizing the need for updates and training in practice, the Ho Chi Minh City Musculoskeletal Endoscopy Society has organized an online scientific conference on the topic “THE USE OF NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDs) FOR POST-TRAUMATIC PAIN MANAGEMENT.” The webinar is co-organized by Daiichi Sankyo Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the following specific information:
