Rick Thielke serves as the entity’s President and CEO; his background is in global commodities, previously running a hedge fund focused on natural gas and power derivatives, with deep experience in statistical and algorithmic trading. Fun fact – he helped the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers price players and trades during “The Process.”

A global commodities professional with 15+ years of experience in gas, power, and alternative energy across Europe, Asia, US, and Latin America, Rick earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he gained distinction as the youngest graduate of the MBA program after completing his degree at the age of 22

• Designed natural gas and power strategy for a $10bn multi-strategy fund, spearheading entry into both gas derivatives and municipal power
• Co-Founder and Risk Manager of Primo Power, an ERCOT-based retail electricity provider
• Partner and/or equity provider in renewable, storage, and thermal power projects exceeding $2 billion GAV, with another ~$1 billion in exclusivity presently
• Managed pooled investment vehicles focused on North American gas and power with AUM exceeding $1.8 billion
• Decade+ of experience managing energy project and commodity risk in Europe, Asia, and the Americas
